About the Journal

CompSec is a fully open-access, internationally peer-reviewed journal advancing research in information security, cybersecurity, and privacy. Covering the full spectrum from cryptographic foundations and network defense to application security, human factors, and privacy-preserving technologies, the journal recognizes that security and privacy are sociotechnical challenges requiring integrated approaches combining rigorous mathematics, system-level engineering, behavioral insight, and informed policy. CompSec encourages scholarship addressing both the technological and human dimensions of security in an increasingly connected and data-driven world.
