Call for Founding Editorial Board Members | Cardiovascular Diagnostics and Biomarkers (CDB)

We are pleased to announce that the new ”Cardiovascular Diagnostics and Biomarkers” has been launched. The new open-access journal Cardiovascular Diagnostics and Biomarkers (CDB) is now assembling its inaugural editorial board. We seek outstanding scientists, clinicians and industry experts who share our mission: to accelerate the translation of cardiovascular discoveries into next-generation diagnostics and biomarker-guided therapies.

Role & expectations
1. Provide strategic advice on journal scope, ethics and special-issue topics.
2. Assist in making editorial decisions on controversial manuscripts.
3. Promote the journal within your professional networks and on social media.
4. Contribute or commission one review, commentary or editorial per year (optional but encouraged).
5. Participate in virtual board or in-person meetings.

5. Annual performance letter documenting your editorial contributions.

Eligibility
1. Earn a doctorial degree (or equivalent policy/practice) experience.
2. ≥ 3 peer-reviewed publications related to the journal (first or senior author) in the past five years.
3. Demonstrated international or inter-sectoral collaboration.
4. Fluency in English.

Application package
1. Current CV including ORCID, Google Scholar or Scopus ID.
2. Brief cover letter outlining your expertise and anticipated contributions to CDB.


Deadline & selection
Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis until meeting the journal's requirements. Appointments are initially for two years (2026–2027), renewable by mutual agreement.
